Megan Fox Tells Critics to "CALM DOWN" Over Her Dress
Megan Fox is rich with clapbacks.
The Transformers alum recently found herself facing online criticism when she urged fans to donate to her manicurist Brittney Boyce's GoFundMe campaign, which asked for help in covering medical costs for the Nails of LA founder's cancer-stricken father. "My friends was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer," Megan wrote alongside a link to the fundraiser on Instagram Story, "if you guys are able to help please do."
As of July 27, the campaign raised over $7,000 out of its $60,000 goal.
However, Megan's call to action rubbed several social media users the wrong way—with some accusing her of being stingy and pointing out that her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, had previously gotten a diamond-encrusted manicure from Brittney worth $30,000.
So, what gives? According to Megan, there is a reason behind what she did.
"Do any of you have the emotional intelligence to consider that maybe brit doesn't want her celebrity clients donating large sums of money to her because it creates a dynamic in her working relationships that makes her uncomfortable?" the 37-year-old wrote in response tob the backlash on July 27. "so instead she asked me to post the gofund me so that many people could donate small amounts of money to help them reach their goal."

Megan went on to explain how she simply complied with Brittney's request, noting that if the nail technician does need anything "from me personally she will ask and i will do it privately."

"One thing you're not going to accuse me of is being miserly or lacking generosity," the actress added. "do try again on another day (probably tmwr!) with some different bulls–t you bunch of psychos."
This is not the first time Megan has addressed online trolls in recent days. Earlier this week, she shut down possible criticism over a photo of herself wearing a see-through dress by Jean Paul Gaultier.
"Before you start angrily typing—those are not my nipples, calm down," Megan captioned a July 25 Instagram post. "They are safely and completely hidden under nipple covers so no worries, we will all live another day without a rip in the space-time continuum."
